Went for my medical appointment just now at Balestier. Had my breakfast at KFC while waiting for the free shuttle bus to arrive. Only now i realised that KFC's breakfast set isnt as good as compared to other fast food stores. Or rather not fulfillin.

Anyway, met this lady from SNEC. Shes also a patient there, fearing she has glaucoma [i din exactly know what sickness this is until Kerlise told me its some sickness that can lead to blindness due to excess pressure of the fluid in the eye. this pressure can be tested by using the machine which i destest the most!]. Anyway she was told her eyes are fine and shes not suffering from glaucoma.

Shes kinda nice to talk to. Or maybe because shes one of the few that says i have the poly look. Haha! Most would probably think im an ITE grad or if not they would assume im a smoker. -.-"

Later i found out from her that shes a lecturer from SMU and she used to be a lecturer in my poly. And i got further assurance from her that advance dip may give me the slightest hope of entering Uni. (:

I went up for my appointment after the lady board the shuttle bus. Kerlise made my stay there so confortable lor. I still remembered my 1st visit there where i felt sooo damn akward. Firstly because the patients there are mostly elderly and secondly the people working there are all female [well mostly except one male Dr]. And hopefully my next visit i can be discharged since Dr told me my eyes are improving. Is only that they are dry.

While waiting for the shuttle bus back to Novena, talked to this ah ma. Then half way through she had to go to the ladies. Then a few minutes later, her daughter came looking for her frantically, fearing she had wandered off. So i told her she was in the ladies and she thanked me for looking out for her mum. LOLs. I was like just fillin up my time chatting with her mum and she thanked me for that. Awesome! (:

Head back to camp after that. Played takraw for the 1st time. Felt rather nice. Should try playing it again. Heh. Went home late just now since on COS duty. Nazim accompanied me. And then we went to eat chicken rice after that.

Reached home. Applied those eye medication. Hopefully can cure by my next visit. Is because i wan my eyes to heal and not i dont wan to see you OK? LOLs.

Went to watch the Spain Portugal match at Kopitiam just now. Spain won 1-0 anyways. Wee! (((:

Was watching on my own for the 1st half of the game. Later, met my bmt section mate, Marcus Chua. LOLs. He's sure having an early ORD mood. Hahahahhas. Anyway heard from him he lost some money for betting Spain to win in the 1st half. Dunno whether he managed to win back when Spain won eventually though.

Sent him back after the game. And mind you, i did not bring extra helmet. ;)

And ya, afraid i might not able to wake, im staying awake now. Heh. Gonna prepare some stuffs. Then shall head to camp. Oh ya, gonna go Eye Center again. Follow up on my eye infection shyte. Hopefully will be discharged. So no longer need to beg for off pass to go for check ups. Sucha pain!!!

Went for a job interview just now. On my way there, on mrt, i drooled yet again. And this time is like massive cannn. Tried to slurp back in but it was just too much! Hahas.

Anyway, back to my interview. It seems to me that im just not meant to be a driver. The consultant told me;
1. I was too young.
2. I am skinny.
3. I just finished NS
4. I am a fresh graduate, and
5. I lack of experience

Reason no. 3 to no. 5 is kinda acceptable but no. 2? Am i that skinny? Oh well... Anyway she told me that its still early before i ORD. And she will try her best to find me a driver job. Anyway she kept telling me i'm a nice person. LOLs. She also mentioned the same thing my mum told me, why i wanna be a driver when im holding a diploma cert. -.-

But even before my interview began, something weird happened. There was this Malaysian Indian guy. I assumed he was also waiting to be interviewed since he was fillin up the resume form. But never did i assumed he had been doing this for so many times lor.

I was like surprised when the consultant said this to him, "Albert! You again uh? How many times you wanna come interview?"

He replied, "Where got where got?"

Then another consultant intervened, "You want me to show you how many companies you did not turn up for the interview?"

I was like speechless! Like they even remembered his name! LOLs.

Anyway, anyone with lobang, pls tell me ehhh? Any temp work related to driving/riding.

Gonna take a nap now. Gonna watch Spain match later. Hope they win against Ronaldo's Portugal!

I was supposed to wake up at 2 to watch the Mexico Argentina game but snoozed till 6. Heh! And i heard there were many controversials in yesterday's game including a Frank Lampard scorcher which supposedly crossed the line, that could have made the game levelled at 2-2. Oh well, lady luck is just not on England's side. Hopefully the same will not happen during Spain match against Portugal ehhh. *cross fingers*

Anyway woke up, bathed and my neck starts to ache till now. Its so damn pain cannn? I was like happily shampoo-ing my hair when suddenly i felt the sudden pain on my neck area. Applied spray and still not cured. Slept for 2 hours and still not cured. Hopefully the ice pack works!

Anyway, my lil nephew knows how to read. GREAT! (:

It has been nearly two years since i last updated this blog. I hope i have grown since then.

Nostalgia...

Thats the word to describe today. I went for breakfast with mum and dad at Joo Chiat since soccer was cancelled in the morning. It has been rather long since i last visited this place. Many more years as compared to when i last blogged.

The place was so different. It was so clean as compared to the olden days. Despite the changes in surroundings, familiar shops are still seen in operation.

Anyway i hope to blog more often since im gonna ord soon. 2 years of service will finally be over. And everything regarding NS will be erased from my brain except for the friendship made, of course. (:
